John continues his address to the Southlake, Texas men's group, Power Based Living. Have you applied Gospel Mathematics when trying to understand the If/Then Gospel only to find yourself confined by a non-congruent equation of His Grace and Our Works? John takes a look at not squandering our liberty by shifting back to a fleshly walk rooted in our own ability (Gal. 3:1-4). He points out the relationship of true freedom to the circumcision of the heart and obedience.

Jesus told us when He makes us free we will be free in our very essence and being. Many experience a SHIFT in their Christian walk that takes them back to a mixture of Jesus plus their effort. This is like they are swimming upstream. They find themselves separated from their first love and back under a self imposed burden of finishing their faith. John will encourage you to continue in the simplicity of our original persuasion and freedom found in our inheritance.

John illustrates the "new kind of life" we have been called into through the gospel. He shows how this life is the persuasion to to live and the fruit that is born from it are supplied abundantly through the Holy Spirit. This new covenant way of living is in contrast to living by the letter of the law that only ministered death to the one trying to fulfill it!

John looks at how Jesus has called us to an entirely new way of living and how the Holy Spirit supplies all that we need for this abundant life. No longer living under the government of sin, our whole foundation from which we function undergoes transformation. Making all former motives and ways of doing things obsolete. The latter half was spent answering a number of interactive questions. Most of the audio of the individual question did not record well and was removed. John shows us how we were delivered from the kingdom of darkness, that is operated by the letter of the law which produces the fruits of sin and death, to a kingdom of light in the newness of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus that manifest the fruit of holiness. One kingdom operates by the mind of Satan the other in the mind of Christ!

It is God that is working in us both to will and do of His good pleasure. Often we look at the most obvious things in our lives that need alteration. We start by thinking that we are going to initiate the change and then ask the Holy Spirit to help. Not understanding that God has something much higher than our lofty goals for self-improvement. That is Him revealing Himself through us allowing us to experience a life beyond measure and ever abounding. The fruits of righteousness are the overflow of this life bringing to light the Great Exchange that has taken place in Him. This message was recorded in a small group meeting in Binghamton, NY.

Do you doubt if God is for you? John led the Southlake men's group, Power Based Living, on this quest of encountering and embracing God's ultimate commitment to the human race in His own incarnation that brings us into a new way of living. This new life in you is filled with His very own persuasion as its source.

John kicked off the new year with this address to the Power Based Living men's group in Southlake, TX. John pointed out that the first Adam in spite of living in a perfect environment, lost his sense of belonging. We often seek to gain a sense of belonging through external things. The last Adam, Jesus, returned the true sense of belonging to us through the Gospel by creating an atmosphere in which faith (persuasion) moves us into belief and trust.

John looks at the continuing effect of the greatest mystery ever revealed and how it is manifested in our life! 

Hypocrisy is acting out a life under a false identity and is usually viewed from a law based definition. Hypocrisy manifests itself in us when we try to attain our identity by performance in the law. John illustrates hypocrisy from a grace perspective by showing how Jesus has saved us from any attempt to build a false identity through self-righteousness by imparting His Righteous Life in us!

In this message John expounded on the two dimensions of faith: Faith of God and Faith in God and how we walk from faith to faith from His persuasion to our persuasion. Unless we see Him as the Alpha (Source) that is the beginning of faith and the Omega (Completion and Perfection) we will never be able to realize or experience His Faith as our very own! 

John, speaking to the Saturday morning Southlake men's group Power Based Living, went deep into the fundamental issues from which legalism derives its existence and power. Legalism is an alternate form of Living that is contrary to the Word (Logic) and Nature of God. It is like a parasite that tries to drain and shift our focus from who we are in Him to our ability to fulfill a SELF BUILT belief system that will supposedly qualify us to experience God's kind of life and blessing. 

John, speaking to the Southlake, TX men's group Power Based Living, continues with the foundation of the two thrones from which reigning in this life occurs and how the different fruit associated with them is born. Our initial obedience to the gospel is the Metanoia (change of mind) we should continue to walk in and how the momentum of His influence is experienced as we continue under the hearing of His word (obedience of faith).

This message, recorded during our small group time, focuses on communion as a time to remember Him and His finished work as we fellowship together in His death. John brings out the context of John 3:16 and the importance of seeing the fulfillment of the law, the defeat of Satan and sin on Calvary's cross. John also uses the Brazen Serpent and his bite to show how the gospel is the only thing that cleanses us from sin consciousness.

John starts his two part series that will look at the two paradigms that guide the way we live life on earth. The gospel gives a clear path to walk in our perfection and shines a light on the nature and origin of deception ...

Many people have been led to a god of fear by fear. Once this path is initiated it grows ever gloomier and drives people away from God into more and more bondage. In this message John brings out the importance of Love Himself being the only atmosphere and influence by which we can be properly drawn, consistently sustained and properly protected. 

This is Mike's first teaching before the Eminent Grace small group.  He expounds on living totally under the New Covenant without mixing the law of the Old Covenant. Though the Gospel is simple, our Daddy is creative. If you are in Christ, you are love! 

Continuing last week's theme of New Testament mediation, John gave the men of Power Based Living a deeper look into the present "more excellent ministry" of Christ by the Holy Spirit within the true tabernacle. You will be emboldened and encouraged at His throne as we behold the beauty of our Savior and High Priest.~  Hebrews 8:2,6

John takes a look into the subject of mediation and how it was viewed as a go between under the Old Covenant; and how in the New Covenant mediation is to be viewed inside the oneness of the Trinity. We have been painted a picture of separation that does not exist within the Godhead and this in turn has affected our approach to the Father. This misunderstanding has Jesus forever standing between us and the Father “still dealing” with our sin. The Holy Spirit is persuading of our blamelessness by His intercession in which we can boldly come to our Father.  John 16:24
